Your own front door and a comfortable lounge just for you is a feature of Jordan Cottage.
The cottage stands at 900ft on the shoulder of the Long Mynd in the heart of Picklescott village. Our guest suite is converted from a wheelwright’s shop dating from the eighteenth century. Attached to the even older cottage it has its own entrance so guests can come and go at all times This makes Jordan Cottage ideal for longer stays.
The cottage offers offers direct access to high moorland and deep batches that form the AONB and NT countryside. The hills are of great age and geological significance and are surely among the most beautiful and least known in England
Spring and summer are of course the most popular seasons but don’t ignore the winter. The hills are stunningly beautiful in the frost. Snow is frequent and often deep but the village is always accessible.
