The Atlantic Ladies rowed from La Gomera in The Canaries to Nelson’s Dockyard, Antigua, in The Caribbean in the winter of 2017/18 in 60 days, 18 hours and 34 minutes. This is their story, as performed on stage around England and Wales in 2018 and 2019.
23-year-old Ursula was a Kensington debutante who went out East to do a little anthropology just before the war but ended up organising the Nagas to ward off the threat of a Japanese invasion of India.
