Peaceful riverside location yet only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Shrewsbury, “Riverside Garden Apartment” is a self-contained garden flat over looking the River Severn and a tree lined Island.

The accommodation comprises of; bedroom, lounge, kitchen, en-suite shower room, separate entrance, patio doors leading to a private patio with table and chairs, chiminea, use of the owners’ garden and canoes.

The garden slopes down to the river complete with steps and jetty access for fishing and feeding the ducks.

It is available to rent for self-catering holidays and short breaks all year round.

Facilities

The property has 1 double bedroom, en-suite shower and WC, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave, fridge, ceramic hob and electric oven, lounge with double sofa bed, TV/DVD, free Wi-Fi, and off street parking.

Complimentary tea and coffee and a bottle of wine is provided. Bed Linen and towels are included in the price.

A continental breakfast is available including tea/coffee, fresh fruit juice, cereal, and croissants, or locally reared bacon and fresh rolls for an additional charge.

The apartment provides ideal accommodation whether you are here to explore the medieval town of Shrewsbury with its Castle, Abbey, boat trips, theatre, shops and restaurants, or if you want to visit other parts of the beautiful county of Shropshire.

The towns of Ironbridge, Bridgnorth and Ludlow are all worth a visit, and there are breath taking walks up the Long Mynd and Stiperstones (where you can discover the mystery of the Devil’s Chair), go horse riding or cycling, then relax in a cosy country pub.

There is a choice of walks from the door along the river and town park. The location is good for cycling and general touring by car, bus or rail.

Access Information: please be aware there are a number of steps to the Apartment which makes it unsuitable for wheelchair users.

“A delightful location, with the river Severn flowing peacefully at the rear of the house. Shrewsbury town centre is a mere stone’s throw away, taking just 10 minutes to reach by foot. The flat itself rests beneath the hosts’ house, permitting complete privacy. It’s furnished with everything that you could possibly need for a short break, and is cosy enough for a couple. And what a beautiful place Shrewsbury and the wider Shropshire area is. Highly recommended all round.”
