Wenlock Edge is a long wooded escarpment stretching from The Wrekin to Craven Arms offering woodland walks, stunning views and flower-rich grasslands. The limestone ridge is the remains of a coral reef, so there are lots of opportunities for fossil hunting amongst the exposed rocks.
The National Trust own an eight mile stretch of the ridge. There are many miles of walks and trails to explore including sections of the Jack Mytton Way and The Shropshire Way.
