Self Catering Cottage in the Shropshire Hills

Brookside Cottage is located in the village of Little Stretton, just a mile from Church Stretton. Relax in the garden, play in the stream outside the gate, wander down to one of 2 village pubs, or walk or cycle from the door up onto the Long Mynd. A shuttle bus runs weekends and bank holidays from down the lane to help you access the Shropshire Hills.

In the lounge you can light a fire and make your own toast for supper. The cottage has Wi-Fi (4G unlimited) and a smart TV in the lounge (which uses WiFi for the signal).

Games and toys of ours are here in the dresser, please feel free to use them.

Off the lounge is a bathroom with power shower, and another door which leads to the dining room and a well equipped fitted kitchen.

Facilities

Upstairs, the cottage sleeps 6 (King size bed and 4 single beds) in 3 bedrooms. Duvets, pillows and blankets are provided [so bring bed-linen and towels – if this is a problem, please contact owner, for an additional cost we can help]

Church Stretton is only a mile away for shopping, park tennis, bowls, crazy golf, BMX track and playground, swimming pool (limited opening) , the famous Cardingmill Valley, or a mooch around the shops – mostly independent retailers and the BIG antique shop!!

Historic Ludlow and Shrewsbury are only half an hour away for town shopping, or visit Iron-bridge – the birthplace of industry, only half an hour’s drive.

Easter School Holidays – £600 per week, £110 per night
April – £510 per Week, £90 per night
May – £550 per Week, £90 per night
Whitsun Week – £650 per Week, £100 per night
June – £600 per Week, £100 per night
July £650 per Week, £100 per night
August – £650 per Week, £100 per night
September £600 a week, £100 a night
October £550 a week, £90 a night

Christmas (19-26) and New Year (26-2) Weeks (Sunday to Sunday) – £1000 per Week
The “per night” are to be used for short breaks.

Cleaning : Please leave cottage tidy and clean for the next guests (as you would like to find it).

Heating: Included in price (electric heating in all rooms).

Bed Linen and Towels : Quilts, pillows and blankets are provided, but please take your own bed linen (1 5ft King Size and 4 single beds) and towels. Please call to discuss if this proves difficult.

Payment: 10% non-returnable deposit required to secure booking via BACS. Full payment required 4 weeks prior to stay (or on booking if within 4 weeks of stay).
